Meet our Team

Inspiration Trust CEO, Gareth Stevens, has been a part of the Inspiration Trust since 2014. Previously, he was the Principal of Hethersett Academy and successfully turned the school around from 'Special Measures' to 'Outstanding' within two years. Under his leadership, Hethersett Academy has become one of the top performing schools in the region.

Gareth was also formerly the Secondary Director, responsible for the strategic leadership, management and outcomes for pupils at nine secondary schools and sixth forms across the East of England. 

In the interim while the process to recruit a new Headteacher is underway, Gareth will be Principal at GYCA, supported by Louise Jackson, Secondary Director at Inspiration Trust, and the Senior Leadership Team at the school.
